This project aimed to create space for a family who work from home in a London Victorian terraced property. A work office area filled with light, and a spare room with bath amenities for guests were the essential requirements. Designing this L-shaped dormer loft extension on one level meant we were able to use the space in between the two rooms for a shower room and toilet.
This was a truly exciting project to work on, we enjoyed overcoming the challenges of craning a bath and large panels of glass over the house, collaborating with an exceptional client vision allowing us to be creative which we love to do and putting thought into sourcing materials such as the lead exterior and smaller details including the marble threshold to the shower room, (through which we discovered a brilliant local stone cutter).
